I started taking webmaster training in late 2000 after I quit my job doing AOL tech support for 5 years.
I originally started taking the courses thru Florida State University in which all our class materials were from WebYoda.
They were working together.
Due to a recent economic downturn FSU went on their own and changed their program.
I was on the old system via FSU to obtain their certification.
If I stayed with FSU I would have to go to Tallahassee or Panama City to take their courses which is over 100 miles away.
I decided to continue with my courses at WebYoda and they offered me to get certification through them, which I did.
I now have AWP & CWP certification.
I do take extra courses to keep up with the times.
Even though I knew most of the material at first I am glad I took them because I am always finding something new.
